The rugged singleturn absolute rotary encoders AS… 40 and AS…H 40 can be used in a variety of ways for position measurement under extreme ambient conditions. They are used in steel and rolling mills, in mining operations, as well as in ports and crane systems for positioning tasks and provide precise information on the angular position of the shaft.
The absolute rotary encoders offer the option of adding additional devices: additional rotary encoders can simply be mounted on the second shaft end.
