The electronic speed monitors (speed switches) of the EGS 41 series monitor up to four programmable speed ranges (underspeed, overspeed and standstill). They offer high switching accuracy even at low speeds.
The speed monitors are certified for safety applications up to SIL 2 / PL d. If a programmed speeds is exceeded or is too low, the respective switching output switches.
The speed monitors are primarily used for safety applications in ports, mining and steel mills.
